Diagnostic reasoning can be challenging for early medical learners. Symptom to Diagnosis is a trusted Lange resource that helps trainees think about differential diagnosis using evidence-based frameworks.  Starting with a common chief complaint such as abdominal pain, headache, or rash— learners navigate through a reliable structure to get to a thoughtful differential diagnosis.

Using an engaging step-by-step process, Symptom to Diagnosis:

  • provides a logical approach to determining the cause of common symptoms
